Before we get into the list, I’d like to introduce myself- my name is Emma and I am a mother to a 10 month old boy! I have not held the “mom” title for very long but trust me, it does not take long to feel and accept the role.

As a 10 month old mom, I believe I have enough experience to share my top ten most loved baby products (of the last 10 months) with the world! Trust me, I understand completely how overwhelming the baby product industry is. Truthfully, despite my best efforts, I have fallen into the trap of feeling as though I have to have all the latest and cleanest and fanciest products for my sweet boy. Fortunately, I have found that despite what the industry tells us, the old saying to “keep it simple” still rings true.

With that said, I hope you will find this list to be a helpful tool in your research for mom tested must have products!

This cream is magic…like really. If I notice my baby has red areas developing in creases, I put this on and the spots are cleared up by the next day. I highly recommend this to be in your supply kit!

The first cold hit followed by several more. A little one with a stuffy nose just hurts a mother’s heart. I grew up with a dad that used Vicks for everything colds. Not this super special baby version but the hardcore burn your nostrils kind. This version is like a sweet field of flowers. The box reads “soothes and comforts” and that it does. I love applying this to my infant when he is unwell. He loves it too.

This is another one of those magic tricks. Teething is really challenging…not just for baby but anyone around. I completely understand-those sharp teeth breaking through the gums is a hardcore event. Pain medications are a blessing to have around but are not usually my first grab during a teething session. These homeopathic drops are usually what I reach for as they bring relief to my infant. I would like to note that it is important to consult your infant’s pediatrician before trying really any teething remedy.

Okay I was a little suspicious about this thing. My husband and I stared at it while I was pregnant wondering how it could be worth the price. Well you have found it on my must have list so it proved to be a handy product. In the beginning, we used this mostly to hold our infant when we needed both hands. As our infant grew, we used this all the time. He loved to bounce himself by kicking his legs while watching my husband and I shuffle around the home. Fortunately, we were able to borrow this from a family member, which I definitely recommend if you have the option. Another option would be to look for it second hand on Facebook Market Place or other resale shops.

Ah yes, the lack of sleep I heard tale of is a true thing. I was gifted this product at a baby shower and randomly pulled it out one night during bath time. I am so happy I did. I cant be sure but I am 99.9% sure that this impacted my infant’s sleep in the best way possible. Beyond the sleep, the scent is just so soothing and comforting. This is the perfect addition to your bedtime bath routine. Heads up- the Lavender scented products often have a disclaimer that it is made for infants who are developmentally ready to sleep throughout the night.

This product is just so handy. Part of our nightly routine is a bath. Our son loves reclining in this chair while winding down in the warm water. The chair is easy to clean and folds up for easy transport. I have also used it outside of the bath to hold my infant while I got ready in the morning before he could sit by himself.

This made me the happiest mama. We tried several different swaddles and this one brought tears to my eyes the morning after the first night we used it. Our infant finally was able to get a longer stretch of sleep because of this. It is so simple to quickly and effectively swaddle the infant. We used this until our son started showing signs of rolling.

This tool sucks…which is a great thing in this case. Our infant allows us to quickly and easily clear his nostrils which means a happier baby. You may have heard of the NoseFrida which we did try but I found for myself that this electric tool works better.

We use this sound machine each night and have done so since our infant was born. The white nose is great for soothing, deep sleep, and to drown out other noises that could potentially disrupt sleep. While any sound machine will do the trick, I do like the Hatch for the sound options, nightlight, and the ability to turn on/off from my phone through the app.

I knew that a carrier would be necessary for me and my baby. I used a wrap style carrier for a bit but I did not like how easily it seemed to loosen (I watched so many tutorials and practiced with my infant’s teddy) especially while I was working around the house which involved a lot of movement. I tried a few carriers and finally landed on the Wildbird. This is another baby product that is so unbelievably pricey. You may have come across another popular brand that sells theirs for $600 and above…ah!! While the price on this carrier at $180 is still steep, I do believe it is worth the investment. I love the front carry and back carry options as well as how secure my infant feels while in it. This is another product that can be found on popular resale sites.

And that is my list! I hope you found it helpful in your search for reliable baby products. Seeing as I was literally you only a few months ago- searching around for more experienced moms with a trustworthy review on products, I get you! Cheering you on in your journey. Soon you will be able to create your own list of must haves!

You were made for this baby and you are a wonderful mama!
